Monks Kirby Arts Fest

With support from the Central Warwickshire Villages LEADER programme, the village of Monks Kirby is hosting its very own Arts Fest, bringing an assortment of musicians, performances and art activities for all ages and musical tastes, to its residents and visitors. The ‘Celebration of all the Arts’ event will take place in and around Monks Kirby church, between May 13th and 16th 2010.

The project hopes to encourage greater participation and community engagement in village life. It offers village residents and visitors the opportunity to come together and sample the talents of local artists and craftspeople, whilst helping to support the village’s key heritage building, by raising more funds for the restoration project of Monk’s Kirby’s Priory Church of St Edith.

All are welcome to come along to this fantastic local event and details on how to get your hands on tickets and information on activities and performances can be found on their website. www.arts-fest.co.uk
