Ryton-on-Dunsmore Community Orchard

The village of Ryton-on-Dunsmore has benefited from funding and support through LEADER funded service project 'Community Orchards' to establish an orchard in their village.

With help and support from South Warwickshire Local Food residents have purchased 78 trees and attended planting and pruning days. They will also be planning social events to celebrate their future harvest.

In January the village celebrated their very first Wassail!

  • The village of Bishops Tachbrook has benefited from funding and support through LEADER funded service project 'Community Orchards' to establish an orchard in the back of the school grounds.

    With help and support from South Warwickshire Local Food, residents have purchased 29 trees and attended planting and pruning days. They have also purchased equipment and a shed to support the project.

     

  • The village of Baginton has benefited from funding and support through LEADER funded service project 'Community Orchards' (South Warwickshire Local Food) to establish an orchard in their village.

     

     

  • Provost Williams C. of E. Primary School, in Ryton on Dunsmore, has benefited from funding and support through LEADER funded service project 'Community Orchards' to establish a school orchard.  

  • Stoneleigh Village has benefited from funding and support through LEADER funded service project 'Community Orchards' to establish an orchard.


    Residents have planted several apple trees for cider making.

  • The village of Eathorpe has benefited from funding and support through LEADER funded service project 'Community Orchards' to establish an orchard in their village.
