Warwick District Council is launching a WW1 Commemoration Grant Fund for Community Forums.
Each of the 7 Community Forums has been allocated £1,500 to be used specifically to support commemorative projects such as refurbishing war memorials, reminiscence events, art projects etc.
Please note that all applications require the supporting signature of a District Councillor.
The closing date is Friday 30th May 2014 by noon at the latest.
Rural Tourism and Social Media Event

Warwickshire Rural Hub is working with Warwickshire County Council to run an event aimed at rural tourism businesses in Warwickshire. The event will include Social Media for Business as well as Alex Holmes from Hidden Britain who will talk about rural tourism and social media such as Tripadvisor. Rural West community speed watch were successful in getting money for a community speed watch project to be run in the Warwick district Rural West Area.
We now have all the equipment required. A big thank you to Alex Davis from Budbrooke Parish Council for helping administering the funds and Peter Gogerly for initiating the process.

Warwick District Council and Warwickshire County Council have provided a pot of money that each community forum in Warwick district can distribute to local groups and individuals. Each forum has money to spend on areas of work that support the priorities identified by the community forums.
