Research on behalf of Defra has now been published. This has a focus on neighbourhood planning in rural areas, but the tips from the frontrunners should prove to be of interest to all. It is the first piece of Government funded research into neighbourhood planning. Prepared for Defra with intput from DCLG, it was reviewed by a reference group including representatives from ACRE, Cabe at the Design Council, CPRE, Locality, Planning Aid England and The Prince's Foundation.
